Mathematics and Economics (joint major) B.S.

This major is considered to be excellent preparation for graduate study in Economics, as well as for professonial degree programs such as an M.B.A. or other managerial studies. Several graduate programs in Economics require more mathematics background than is currently expected of Economics majors. For this reason, the Economics Department considers this to be a useful major.
