The anthropology program at UC Santa Cruz offers courses in cultural anthropology, physical anthropology, and archaeology that explore a variety of themes within these areas. Students have the opportunity to conduct independent library and field research and may use the department media laboratory to develop technical and creative skills in visual and audio media.
