Admitted to pre-major status until prerequisites are satisfied. Also offered in the College of Creative Studies (Creative Studies: Mathematics Emphasis, B.A/B.S.). This degree is especially suitable for students who plan to go on to graduate work in the mathematical sciences as well as others who want a rigorous program with an emphasis on theory. The upper-division curriculum for this degree is built around courses that cover the basic theoretical material needed as a foundation for graduate level courses.
