Admission into UCLA's Physics, B.A. major is not open to new applicants. Students must transfer into another major (preferably one with similar lower division coursework) and then apply post transfer to the major via petition. The General Physics major is intended to provide the necessary flexibility for fields in which a strong background of knowledge in physics would be helpful.
