University Majors
The program prepares students for careers in the biomedical industry or for further education in graduate school. Students study engineering and principles of biology, chemistry, physics, and physiology. The curriculum emphasizes education in the fundamentals of engineering sciences that form the common basis of all engineering subspecialties. Elements of bioengineering design are incorporated at every level in the curriculum through integration of computer applications, laboratory experimentation, and exposure to actual bioengineering problems throughout the program.
