University Majors
The B.A. degree program enables students to pursue elective subjects in music (such as analysis, history, or jazz), in the arts, or in other academic disciplines. Many program graduates become successful freelance members of symphony orchestras, composers, and performers, while others have made careers in music publishing and the recording industry. Students often pursue graduate degrees in performance, music history, conducting, arts management, music librarianship, composition, or secondary or postsecondary education. Audition required.
