Music B.A. Concentration in Jazz Studies

Sonoma State University offers a cutting edge jazz program with small class sizes and world class teachers and guests. In addition to our many classes we have several concert and workshop guests throughout the year covering a lot of different topics and styles of jazz. There are also private lessons available for voice, saxophones, flute, trumpet, trombone, guitar, piano, bass and drums. We also offer four levels of recording classes, pop music writing and music business classes. Some students add a recording arts minor to their jazz pursuits.
