Industrial designers combine their aesthetic sensibilities with technical knowledge and experience to develop the products that shape our built world. Through their skills, they help connect products to people and insure that products are useful, usable and desirable. Designers work with anthropologists, engineers, business strategists, entrepreneurs and others to give form to products while improving their environmental and social impact, serviceability, safety, and appearance.
