The Mathematics and Statistics Department at CSU Monterey Bay offers a strong yet flexible curriculum that portrays both the beauty and importance of mathematics. Students are treated as individuals and class sizes are small. The flexibility of the major gives students enough freedom to mold their degree along their particular interest, from preparation for careers in industry, universities, and research institutes, to high school teaching.
