Visual and Public Art Concentration in Integrated Media and Photography

The VPA major synthesizes a connection between the studio and the community. Developing their skills and portfolios, VPA students participate in; the creation of individual and collaborative work, public art projects, on-site work in community organizations, museums, and local schools. The VPA program engages students in a process of ethical inquiry, self-reflection and reciprocal community interaction in the context of art as a powerful tool for personal growth and social empowerment.
