Mathematical Sciences B.S.

The study of mathematics offers students access to virtually all disciplines of liberal arts education. The B.S. in Mathematical Sciences is an applied mathematics degree intended for students interested in computational aspects of mathematics, systems analysis, decision sciences, physical sciences, and operations research. It is suitable as preparation for advanced training in applied mathematics, management science, business administration, or operations research. Transfer students are admitted to pre-major status until prerequisites are satisfied. Also offered in the College of Creative Studies (Creative Studies: Mathematics, B.A./B.S.)
