The major in Literary Journalism is designed for students interested in writing creative non-fiction and journalism, and in studying their histories. Defined both by its historical and theoretical focus and by its intensive writing seminars, the program contextualizes literary journalism in a wider study of the discourses of fact throughout history, while also attending to the impact of new media technologies on the evolution of the field.
