University of California, Davis
Human Development B.S.

Throughout the human life cycle, a person''s environment can affect how his or her development proceeds - whether typical, or delayed in some way. Human development majors study how biological factors such as heredity, physical maturation and aging, and social factors such as parenting, education and personal choices, affect developmental processes including social and cognitive growth. UC Davis'' faculty and facilities in human development give you the chance to observe human growth and interaction first-hand and to participate in some of the most exciting research being done in the field today.
