The curriculum in Mechanical Engineering provides students with education in mechanical engineering theory and practice. By proper choice of electives, under the guidance of a departmental academic advisor, the student can prepare for professional work in mechanical engineering with some specialization in one or more of the following fields: machine design, energy systems analysis, computer aided design, control systems, thermodynamics, heat transfer, machinery and manufacturing systems.
