San Jose State University
Advertising B.S.

In the world of competitive business, companies are always looking to gain an edge for their products or services. Advertising gets them that edge. That is why the advertising industry continues to grow, and seek new talent. Successful modern advertising takes creativity and innovation, skills honed by learning at San Jose State University's School of Journalism and Mass Communications.

San Jose State is the only university on the West Coast, and one of three west of the Rocky Mountains, to offer an advertising degree approved by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication.
Practical experience in the classrooms of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications gives students a leg up on their competition. The School offers opportunities to forge useful contacts and ways to get in touch with potential employers.
