TCourses in mathematical computing, mathematics, operations research and statistics are designed to provide quality undergraduate training in the mathematical sciences. The degree programs of the Department of Mathematics provide preparation for various careers in the mathematical sciences such as in business, education, government, and industry. Specifically, the B.A. degree offers a Subject Matter Preparation Program which fulfills the prerequisites for entry into a single subject teaching credential program.
