Physics is a study of the fundamental macroscopic and microscopic properties of nature, from the building blocks of matter to the origin, extent, and future of the universe itself. Physicists seek to measure, understand, model, and control the processes in the physical world around us. To this end, physicists use a variety of descriptive and quantitative techniques to represent their knowledgeThis option is intended for those students who wish to pursue a career in which an understanding of the design of electronic devices, possibly interfaced to computers and/or research equipment, is required
