Electrical and Electronic Engineering B.S.

Electrical engineering is the study of electric power distribution, motors, and generators. Electronic engineering is the study of robotics, communications, circuits, electromagnetic fields and digital and analog hardware. We offer a comprehensive program leading to a combined Electrical & Electronic Engineering B.S. degree accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Students receive a thorough grounding in mathematics, and the basic sciences during the first four semesters. Engineering design and applications are stressed in upper division courses. Prospective students are urged to discuss their plans as early as possible with their high school or community college counselor. The E&EE Department Chairman is available for individual advising and encourages all students, both prospective and enrolled, to contact him regularly.
