Child and Adolescent Development B.A. with Early Childhood Development option

Students in the Early Childhood Development Option explore the scientific study of human development with particular emphasis on the developmental milestones and phenomena of early childhood (conception through age eight.) Students in the program have enhanced opportunities to gain professional competencies and complete coursework focusing on infants, toddlers, and young children`s development. Students transferring from the Community College who have completed the California Alignment Project CAP 8 or Transfer Model Curriculum in Early Childhood Education will typically have completed 24-25 units toward the degree.
