The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is designed to provide registered nurses with knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for the performance of the professional nursing role and characteristics of the generally educated person. The program prepares a nursing generalist who can provide care within a framework of scientific and professional accountability, and can function independently in a variety of health settings. The program provides students with the necessary foundation for graduate education and specialization and promotes and fosters commitment to lifelong learning for personal and professional growth. We are offering a new pre-licensure option. This degree provides coursework and clinical experiences needed to qualify students for RN licensure and also awards a BSN.
