Business Administration B.S. Accounting Option

The College of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with seven options. Whether you dream of starting a business or working in one that is already established, you will receive an education in the College of Business that gives you the business skills and knowledge that prepares you for career success. The Accounting option is a 27-unit Option. The field of Accounting offers a variety of career paths. Many Accounting students work for national, regional or local public accounting firms or for government agencies such as the IRS or California Franchise Board. Accounting students are in high demand and the department has had a 100% career placement record. Many accounting majors seek to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Toward that end, students may pursue a Professional Accounting Certificate (30 units) that addresses the 150-hour standard of this certification concurrently with earning the B.S. degree with an Option in Accounting.
