Nutrition and Food Sciences B.S. Nutrition Management Option

Nutrition and Food Sciences Majors gain knowledge and skills in nutrition communication and education, medical nutrition therapy, community nutrition, food science and nutrition management. There are three options for the Bachelor`s of Science (BS) degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences: Dietetics, Nutrition Management and Food and Nutrition Communication.

The Nutrition Management Option offers science-based courses that prepare students interested in careers as dietary managers working in healthcare settings and careers in school (K-12) foodservice which requires knowledge in the area of child nutrition and nutrition policy.
